     Mr. Robert Lee “Bobby” Mims, 76, husband of Mary Ruth Huggins Mims, died Friday March 21, 2014, in Tuomey Hospital in Sumter.
     Mr. Mims was born November 2, 1937, in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Clinton Lee Mims and Lydie Mae Frierson Mims. He was a graduate of Kingstree High School, attended Clemson University, and was retired from Edwards & Mims Insurance. Bobby was a Mason and a Shriner and was a member of Williamsburg Presbyterian Church. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his brother Wayne Mims.
     Surviving are: his wife Mary Ruth Mims, of Kingstree; his daughter Rebecca Ann Mims (Mike) Barrineau, of Kingstree; his son, Robert Anderson (Nikki) Mims, of Kingstree; and his 3 grandchildren, Mary Rebecca Barrineau, LeeAnn Barrineau, and Copelyn Nicole Mims.
     Graveside funeral services will be 2 PM Monday, March 24, 2014, in Kingstree Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service in Grace Hall at Williamsburg Presbyterian Church. Memorials may be made to Williamsburg Presbyterian Church, 411 N. Academy Street, Kingstree, SC 29556 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
