     Mr. Robbie Olin Taylor, 87, husband of Sarah E. Hilton Taylor, died Sunday March 9, 2014, at his residence.
     Mr. Taylor was born July 8, 1926, in Kershaw County, a son of the late James N. and Docia Broom Taylor. He was a graduate of Kershaw County schools, attended Clemson University, and was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Navy. Mr. Taylor was retired from the US Postal Service after serving 38 years as a letter carrier. He was a member of Greeleyville Baptist Church. Mr. Taylor was a former member of Greeleyville Town Council and served as Mayor of Greeleyville. He was a member of   Inglesby Masonic Lodge No.267 AFM in Greeleyville, where he was a Past Master and a Past District Deputy. Mr. Taylor was the last surviving sibling of 11 children.
     Surviving, in addition to his wife Sarah, of Greeleyville, are: his daughter, Janice Taylor, of Greeleyville; 2 sons, Kenneth O. Taylor, of Simpsonville, and Michael B. (Peggy) Taylor, of Fairview, NC; a grandson Adam O. Taylor, of Lexington, KY; 3 step grandchildren, Tres, Grant and Tiffany; and several nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Friday, March 14, 2014, in Greeleyville Baptist Church, with burial in New Market Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the church at 2 PM that day, just prior to the service.
