I’m so sorry to hear this. I’ve always had a fondness for my Uncle Alan, and remember he and my dad hanging out when I was younger quite often. Ken and you are all in my thoughts, I know this is a difficult time.

  2. Rebecca Mitchum

Mr. Alan was such a sweet man. I met him years ago at the Markette and would see him just about every morning, he would always speak and give me a hug and ask me about my girls. I will miss seeing him!!

  3. Lisa

Condolences to the family. I am sorry for your loss. I pray God comforts and strengthens the family during this difficult time. May the fond memories of Mr. Richardson bring some comfort to the family. Revelation 21:4 “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” The family is in my prayers.

  4. Wanda Richardson

May you rest in peace, uncle Alan.
Ken, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

  5. Judge Delores Franklin Williams

I usually stop by the Markette every morning. Mr. Alan, as I call him, was there to greet me and share laughter and doughnuts. I will certainly miss him. He also talked about his son. It brought tears to my eyes when I walked in the Markette on Monday morning and learned of his passing. He was truly a great person!

May God give you comfort during this difficult time.

  6. Robyn Stephenson

I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Allen. He was such a joy to talk with up at the Markette. He was always smiling and I never heard him complain of having a bad day. Always a gentleman. My prayers are with the family and his co-workers…He will be greatly missed.
