Arthur Eugene “Dean” McCrea, 58, husband of Deloris “Lois” Bingham McCrea, joined his Heavenly Father Thursday, September 25, 2014. Mr. McCrea was born September 30, 1955, in Kingstree, a son of Joyce Blakley McCrea and the late Marion Brice McCrea. He was a retired truck driver, having worked for Carey’s Auto Transport, of Darlington, and attended Broad Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving in addition to his wife Lois, of Kingstree, are: 1 daughter, Jessica (Jared) Hibbard of Summerville; step-daughter Gina McKenzie (Justin Powell) of Kingstree; grandson Johnny Mack McKenzie of Kingstree; 2 brothers Russell (Teressa) McCrea of Florence and Marion (Melinda) McCrea of Salters; 1 sister Hope (Chad) Thomas of Annapolis, MD. Funeral services will be 3 PM Saturday, September 27, 2014, in the Broad Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church, with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 at the church.
