Mrs. Betty Jo Martin Guerry, 84, widow of Samuel Wattie Guerry, passed away Saturday November 22, 2014, in the Kingstree Nursing Facility.
Mrs. Guerry was born September 11, 1930, in Timmonsville, SC, the daughter of the late Joseph P. Martin and Jewel Aileen Tyson Martin. She attended Timmonsville High School and graduated from Wingate Prepatory School and Coker College, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Lane United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Guerry is survived by her dear friend, Annette Tisdale and several cousins.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday in the chapel at Williamsburg Funeral Home, with burial in Kingstree Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Lane United Methodist Church, PO Box 7, Lane, SC 29564 or Tidelands Community Hospice, 2591 N. Fraser Street, Georgetown, SC 29440. .
