  11. MarGareth Rhoad

My heart has been heavy since learning of Carol’s death and my thoughts and prayers are with each member of her family. I have worked with DMH for the past 10 years and enjoyed seeing and getting to know Carol on my monthly visits to Santee Watered MHC. Two things that I learned about Carol – she loved God and lived her life accordingly and she loved her family. She was always talking about Kim, Kelly and the grandchildren. Carol meant so much to her co-workers and made a difference in the lives of those that she nursed. Hold each other tight in the days ahead and rest assured that Carol is with her heavenly Father.

  12. Tawn Oliver

  14. Mary K. Johnson

My sincere condolences to all of Carol’s family. My heart is broken. She and I worked together at SW Mental Health before my retirement and my memories of early morning talks concerning our faith in God and his son Jesus will forever be imbedded in my heart and mind. She was assured of her salvation and I take great comfort in that and I know her family can as well. I saw her on Tuesday and we gave each other a big hug and kiss as we always did. I will keep you all in my prayers and thoughts. Sincerely

  15. Julie Atkinson

My sincerest condolences to the McCutchen and Gandy families. I worked with Carol in several LTC facilities and consulted her many times through the DMH when I was with the local RHC. She was always ready with a smile and a kind word. She will be missed, this I know; I also know she has not ceased to exist, but has simply gone Home.

  16. Debra L. Floyd

I considered your Mom a dear friend. Though our working paths had changed, we managed to keep in touch by phone and FB and I also took such joy from our conversations. She loved her children and grandchildren and spoke of them often but she also never forgot to ask about mine, such was my sweet friend. Her laughter and wit was so uplifting. Know that she will also be missed by those whose lives she touched. My heartfelt condolences to your family. Take comfort in all the wonderful memories you have of her.

  17. Elizabeth Nexsen

  18. Joy Mobley

My heart aches for all the Gandy family. Carol and I have worked together off and on for over 25 years. We have cried and laughed together many times and I will truly miss her. The last time I saw her she was showing off a picture of her great grand child and kissed her phone saying I could just eat them up! Carol loved her family so. She was a wonderful nurse and always did everything by the book. I know she’s with the Lord and watching over all of you.

  19. Jane Matthews
