     Funeral services will be 4 PM, Wednesday, October 25, 2017, in the chapel of Williamsburg Funeral Home, with burial in Kingstree Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Charles Edward “Pete” McCutchen, 76, widower of Lois Tisdale McCutchen, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017, in McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC.

Mr. McCutchen was born March 31, 1941, in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Louis McCutcheon and Willow Dean Thornhill McCutcheon. He was retired from A & P Food Stores and was a farmer. Pete was a member of Greeleyville Baptist Church and was an avid outdoorsman.

Surviving Mr. McCutchen are: his daughter, Mandy McCutchen, of Kingstree; his son, Charles Edward (Chris) McCutchen, Jr., of Manning; brother, Jamie (Betty) McCutcheon, of Coward; sister, Jean Colvard, of Conway; 2 grandsons, Charles Kevin (Destany) McCutchen of Greeleyville and Justin Edward McCutchen, of Kingstree; 1 granddaughter, Brittany Lois (Trey) Purvis, of Andrews; 4 great grandsons, Patrick and Carson McCutchen and Grayson and Wayland Benton; and 1 great granddaughter, Kalli McCutchen. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. McCutchen was preceded in death by brothers, Bobby “Slick” McCutcheon and Larry “Sonny Boy” McCutcheon, and a sister, Barbara Jean Brown.

Funeral services will be 4 PM, Wednesday, October 25, 2017, in the chapel of Williamsburg Funeral Home, with burial in Kingstree Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3 PM until service time.
