Ms. Gracie Allen Scott, 78, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017, in Sumter, SC.

Ms. Scott was born August 30, 1938, in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late George Walter Scott and Fannie McKnight Scott. She graduated from Greeleyville High School and was a long-time bookkeeper at Exchange Bank of Kingstree. She was a member of the former Lane Presbyterian Church.

Survivors are her daughter, Ellen C. (Tommy) Stuckey, of Nesmith, SC and her sister, Virginia Tedder, of Kingstree.

    My thoughts and prayers are with you. It has been such a long time since I have seen you or Aunt Gracie. I wanted to take the time to say how sorry I am for your loss. When I go through Lanes I think of when I was younger and would come over to visit with Daddy and Momma. How time passes so quickly.
