You are in our thoughts and prayers. Uncle Jimmy was a large force who impacted many lives. He lived through many changes in his country and the business world. The kindness and love he showed my parents will always be remembered.

  2. Tommy Borum

I knew and admired Uncle Jimmy all of my life. He was a man of many dimensions. He was a man’s man who seemed to me to be indestructible, always bouncing back from whatever adversities life sent his way. He was also a very generous person who would literally give you the shirt off his back. Of course, he also had a lighter side, with a great sense of humor that was the life of any party or family get together. He took time to enjoy life, and help us do the same. Most importantly, he was a kind and loving family man to whom family always came first.

He taught us all a lot . . . While we will all miss him tremendously, he will live on through each and every one of us. His legacy will be how well we follow the examples that he set for us. We love you Uncle Jimmy!

Whether it was as a little kid, a teenager, or an adult, even just a few minutes spent with Uncle Jimmy made me feel like maybe I had become a little cooler, a little funnier, a little wiser, a little more witty – because maybe, just by being around him and enjoying his company, a little bit of all those traits that were so great in him might have somehow slightly rubbed off on me. I’ll miss how good he made it feel just to be around him.

    Jimmy,

My heart is breaking to think that you are no longer here, and I am the lone survivor of our happy family of sweet parents and five children. I will miss you and think of you every day until we meet in heaven. Life goes by too fast.

    With love,

    Your sister, Teal
