A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Martha’s life will be held 3PM Saturday, June 10, 2017 at her residence 361 Planters Road, Kingstree, SC 29556.
Martha Ann McKenzie Gibbons, 73, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017, in Carolinas Hospital System in Florence, SC.
Ms. Gibbons was born October 24, 1943, in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late Willie Mack McKenzie and Vera Strickland McKenzie. She was a graduate of Kingstree High School and had worked at Baxter Labs and Crescent Tool. She was a member of Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving Ms. Gibbons are 2 sons, Bart Clyde (Ruth) Richardson, of Scranton and Robert Carl (Stephanie) Richardson, of Kingstree, and 7 grandchildren.

I am so sorry to hear about Martha Ann. She was one of my classmates. I am so glad she was able to attend our 55th reunion in April. A memorial at the Williamsburg historical society has been started for our deceased classmates and her name will be added to it
