Othel T. Smoak

Othel Tisdale “Tizzie” Smoak, 94, widow of Floyd Smoak, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017, at her residence in Kingstree.

Mrs. Smoak was born January 7, 1923, in Kingstree, SC, a daughter of the late John James “Dan” Tisdale and Agnes Janie “Janie” Strong Tisdale. She worked for many years at J.S. Weeks Produce in Charleston. She was an Episcopalian.

Surviving Mrs. Smoak are several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be 3 PM Saturday, June 3, 2017, in Live Oak Memorial Gardens in Charleston. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of SC, 136 N. Academy Street, Kingstree, SC 29556.
