Mrs. Pauline Napier Gray, 63, wife of Roger Gray, died Friday, September 30, 2016, at her residence in Florence.

Mrs. Gray was born July 30, 1953 in Indiana, a daughter of the late Wade Lee Napier and Hazel Grigsby Schelske. Before moving to Florence, she was the deli manager at Piggly Wiggly in Kingstree for 26 years.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Roger, of Florence are: 3 daughters, Tonya (Mac) McElveen of New Zion; Brittany (Josh) Powell, of Cades; and Melanie (Justin) McCutchen, of Kingstree; Step-sons, Clyde (Yolanda) Gray, of Ohio; Jessi (Caitlyn) Gray, of Florence; a brother, Kenny Schleske, of Alabama; a sister, Lois Phillips, of Indiana, 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held 2PM Saturday, October 15, 2016, in Williamsburg Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Gray’s family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Gray’s granddaughter received excellent care each time she visited the Greenville Shriners Hospital for Children and this is why her family has chosen them to receive memorials.
