Mrs. Peggy Kimbrel Green Jessup, 63, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014, in Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Jessup was born March 4, 1951, in Greensboro, GA, a daughter of Alice Edwards Kimbrel and the late Charlie Kimbrel. She was a graduate of Butler High School in Augusta, GA and received an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Georgia Tech. She was an administrative assistant with Midway Fire Department for over 20 years. Peggy was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and will be missed terribly. In addition to her father, Mrs. Jessup was preceded in death by her husbands, Hal Green and Jay Jessup and a sister Cheryl.
Surviving are: her son, Charles Bryan Dunn, of Augusta, GA; her daughter, Jennifer Ashley Reese, of Georgetown; 3 grandchildren, Nathan Dunn, Brayden Reese, and Joseph Fossick, Jr; and 5 sisters, Gail, Bobbie, Judy, Terri, and Pat.
A memorial service will be 4:00 PM Friday, January 2, 2015, at Holy Cross Faith Memorial Episcopal Church, in Pawley’s Island. A reception will be held after the service to share stories of Mrs. Peggy.
