Graveside funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday, January 30, 2016, in Kingstree Memorial Gardens.

 

Visitation

 

Phil’s family will receive friends following the service at Millwood Community Center.

Phillip Craig “Phil” McKnight, 58, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016, in McLeod Hospice House.

Phil was born June 10, 1957, in Kingstree, a son of the late A. Clyde McKnight and Bernice Thornbrew McKnight. He was a graduate of Kingstree High School and attended Francis Marion University. He was a salesman at Santee Automotive in Manning. Phil was an avid golfer and loved all the old westerns, especially those starring John Wayne.

Surviving are: his brothers, Keith McKnight, of Kingstree, Joe (Ettaphine) McKnight, of Florence, and Fredis (Dena) McKnight, of Conway; his beloved nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews, who were like his own children; and numerous cousins who were special to him also.
