Rosalie Camlin Evans, 93, of Salters, SC, was born November 30, 1922, in Vesper, WI. She made her journey to be with her Lord in Heaven on July 4, 2016. Waiting for her there was her beloved husband William B. Evans, her son, William R. Evans, and a daughter, Sandra Evans Moyd. Also waiting were two sons-in-law, who were like sons to her, Russell Moyd and Bertis Reed Parker, Jr.

Mrs. Evans worked for many years in C. Boyd and Son store in Lane, SC and was known for her kindness and sweet and gentle ways. She was much loved by both the children and adults of the community, for she always had a cookie for the children and a kind word for the adults. She was a long time member of Union Presbyterian Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathryn “Kaye” Evans Parker, of Beaufort, SC and a sister Hazel (Pat) Folks, of Tampa, FL, five grandchildren and spouses, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson. She is also survived by Joyce and Jerry McDaniel, of Salters, who were two of the greatest treasures of her life. She loved them like they were her children.

Making her final days more comfortable besides her daughter Kathryn, Joyce and Jerry McDaniel, were her grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Shane and Donna Moyd and the staff at McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
