Rosemary Law Rogers, 77, wife of James L. “Jimmy” Rogers, Jr., passed away August 11, 2016, in McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Mrs. Rogers was born February 5, 1939, in Columbia, a daughter of the late Louie Lochiel Law and Edna Broughton Law. She finished Holly Hill High School and was a graduate of Winthrop University and received her Masters in Education from Francis Marion University. She retired after having taught for 33 years at Williamsburg Academy, Kingstree Senior High, C.E. Murray and Manning High School. Rosemary was an avid reader and a lifelong Sunday school teacher at Kingstree Presbyterian Church, where she was very involved in PCA Women in the Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband Jimmy, are: a daughter, Rosanne Rogers Braswell, of Clinton; a son, James L. “Lew” (Michelle) Rogers, III, of North Charleston; four grandchildren, Stephanie Braswell, Jonathan Braswell, both of Clinton; Ashley Rogers, of Columbia; and Michael Rogers, of North Charleston.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Rogers and a brother, Alex Law.

Dear Rogers Family,
Mrs. Rogers was my French teacher at WA and I always enjoyed her classes. She touched the lives of many students throughout her career. Her teachings carried me through 2 semesters of college French and a trip to Paris nearly 40 years later! Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss.

Mrs. Rosemary was such a sweet and kind woman. It was truly my honor to have her as a teacher. She was a saint of a woman and an amazing example of a true Christian. Please accept our most sincere condolences.
