Howard Weaver Williams, Jr., 63, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017, in McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Mr. Williams was born August 13, 1953, in Kingstree, SC, a son of the late Howard Weaver Williams, Sr. and Margaret Lenoir Williams. Howard was a graduate of Kingstree Senior High School and attended Francis Marion University. He worked for several companies in the rubber/plastics industry over the years starting with Colonial Rubber when it was located in Kingstree. Howard was a member of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Kingstree.
Surviving Mr. Williams are: his daughter, Kelly Williams; his son, Howard Andrew (Francis) Williams; his step-son, Kevan (Crystal) Freeman; grandchildren, Taylor Evans, Maggie Evans, Mitchell Freeman, Chase Graham, Noel Freeman, and Charlie Williams; brother, Frank (Kathy) Williams; sister, Nancy Williams; several nieces and nephews; and friend and companion, Lisa Williams. In addition to his parents, “Captain Bill” and Margaret Williams, Howard was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Brown and a grandson Tyler Evans.

Prayers for comfort and peace at the passing of our former classmate and friend. Was saddened to hear this news today. May you feel the Presence of the Lord and be assured that Howard is waiting for you just around the corner and will greet you at the gate when you answer the call to join your family that have gone before you.
