Funeral services will be 3 PM Friday, September 29, 2017, in the First Baptist Church in Kingstree, with burial in Kingstree Memorial Gardens.
Visitation
Mrs. Williamson’s family will greet friends beginning at 2 PM in the Fellowship Hall at the church.

Mrs. Avisteriah Gibbons “Dotsie” Williamson, 88, widow of Kenneth Raymond Williamson, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017, in Carolinas Hospital System in Florence, SC.
Mrs. Williamson was born April 7, 1929, in Turbeville, SC, a daughter of the late Cardinal Gibbons and Mamie DuBose Gibbons. “Miss Dotsie” was retired from the USDA office in Kingstree and was an avid gardener. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Kingstree, where she remained very active until her health declined.
Surviving Mrs. Williamson are: a sister-in-law, Evelyn Gibbons, of Florence; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Chuck and Linda Hylton, of Kingstree. In addition to her parents and her husband, Miss Dotsie was preceded in death by her brothers, Lonnie Gibbons and Larry Gibbons.
