Mrs. Connor was a remarkable lady and always an asset to her community and Williamsburg County. Rest in peace Mrs. Polly. My condolences to the family.
I’m so glad I met Polly three years ago when I moved to Wildewood where we developed a loving friendship. Everyone gravitated to Polly with her sweet smile and adorable personality. May God bless you all.
We had the utmost pleasure and privilege of knowing Miss Polly – an exceptional soul with an indomitable spirit, energy and and can-do attitude. We loved her and her wry, subtle wit and humorous self-deprecation. We knew her to be an amazing, much loved mother and friend to Louise and Paula and mother-in-law to Jeanne and Bill. We will miss her and that bright smile greatly. Our thoughts and heavy hearts are with Louise, Paula, Jeanne, Bill, Timothy, Dan, Connor and Helen.
Dear Louise,
Donald and I are deeply saddened to learn that your mother has passed away. Though I never met Polly, I felt I knew her through the many times you spoke of her over the years. She was truly an inspiration to me and I am certain many others, for her strength and determination to live fully, whatever her circumstances. (What a gutsy lady!) We are so very sorry for your loss. Our hearts are with you today and always.
Love, Greta and Donald Marks
Dear Lou, Paula, and family,
We are so sorry to hear of Polly’s passing ; she and Wallace meant so much to our parents, Rev. and Mrs. Joel E. Cannon when we lived in Kingstree and our Dad served Kingstree United Methodist Church. I fondly remember Carol from my time at Kingstree High School : Joey remembers great times in Girl Scouts when Polly organized Scouting groups.
We will certainly keep you close in our thoughts.

May you find comfort in knowing that Polly is safe in the memory of God, who will remember every detail about her and bring her back again. Isaiah 25:8 “He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.”
We are thinking of Miss Polly, her smile, wit, love of family and tenacity. We will miss her. We send love to Lou and Paula and their spouses and Carol’s “boys” and the extended family and friends.
