Funeral services celebrating Mr. Tisdale’s life will be 3 PM Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church with a burial in Tisdale Cemetery. .
Visitation
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the funeral home.

Carl Glean Tisdale, Sr., 90, husband of Adelle Wallace Tisdale, died Monday, September 17, 2018, at his residence.
Mr. Tisdale was born May 7, 1928, in Williamsburg County, a son of the late John James Tisdale and Hannah Byrdic Tisdale. He attended Cedar Swamp schools and was a farmer. He loved spending time with his children, grand children and great grandchildren.
Surviving Mr. Tisdale, in addition to his wife Adelle, are: a son, Glen (Sue) Tisdale, of Kingstree; a daughter, Karan (Joe) Campbell, of Summerville; grandchildren, Melissa (Dean) McClary, Joel Campbell, Joshua Tisdale, Jaimee (Matt) Rhodes and Caleb Tisdale; great grandchildren, Daniel Oxendine, Kale Gurley, Bear Rhodes and Cypress Rhodes; brothers, Hilton (Carrie) Tisdale, of Manning, and Byrdic (Linda) Tisdale, of Kingstree. Mr. Tisdale was preceded in death by a brother, five sisters and a grandson, John Ross McClary.

Sorry for your loss, Mrs Adelle, Glenn, Karan and family. We have very fond memories growing up together with Mr Carl. He will be truly missed.
