Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Michael R. Lowder, will be 4 PM Sunday, June 2, 2019, at Midway Evangelical Presbyterian Church in New Zion, SC.
Visitation
Visitation will be held at 2:30 to 4 PM Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Midway Church, New Zion, SC

Janie Ettalene Evans McKenzie, 88, wife of Robert Joe McKenzie for 67 years, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019, at her home. She was the daughter of the late James Wesley and Margaret Ettalene Evans. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker, and a life-long member of Midway Presbyterian Church.
Ettalene is survived by her husband Joe of the home; her daughter, Sandra (Phil) Grimsley of Lake City; two grandchildren, Jessi Grimsley and Phillip Grimsley of Lake City; step grandchildren, April Cockfield of Lake City and Jennifer Stone of Florence; and one brother, Carl Matthews Evans, Sr. She was predeceased by a son, Joe Wendell McKenzie and an infant daughter, Kathy Lynn McKenzie; three sisters and five brothers.
Visitation will be held at 2:30 to 4 PM Sunday, June 2, 2019, with the service to follow at 4 PM at Midway Church, New Zion, SC, with Rev. Michael R. Lowder officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
