Funeral Services

      A graveside service celebrating Margaret’s life will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 in Kingstree Memorial Gardens.

Visitation

The family will greet friends after the service and other times at the home of Donna Love.

Memorials may be made to Veteran’s Victory House, 2461 Sidney’s Road, Walterboro, SC 29488.

Margaret Tanner Epps, 89, widow of C.W. Epps, died Sunday, January 19, 2020, in Trident Hospital in Charleston.

     Mrs. Epps was born May 17, 1930, in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late Jasper and Ettie Hanna Tanner. She was a graduate of Indiantown High School and was a home maker. Mrs. Epps was a member of Kingstree First Baptist Church.

     Surviving Mrs. Epps, are: a daughter, Donna (Terry) Love, of Kingstree; a son, Charles Epps, of Walterboro; a special daughter, Lisa Tarte, of Prosperity; sisters, Iona Prow, of Thompson, GA, and Jean Ozee, of Montgomery, AL; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her daughters, Frances Tisdale and Peggy Boatwright; brothers, Levon Tanner, Raymond Tanner, and Jerriell Tanner; sisters, Lydia Hughes, Lola Patrick, and Beverly Dunn.
