Tricia Ann Love Harrington, wife of Charles W. Harrington, passed away Monday, July 6, 2020, in McLeod Hospice House of Florence.
Mrs. Harrington was born December 18, 1948, in Brunswick, Georgia, a daughter of the late Cecil Ellis Love and Tinker Estelle Ward Love. Tricia graduated from New Hanover High School in Wilmington, North Carolina. While her children were young, she stayed home being a loving, wonderful mother. After her children started to school, she returned to work at Williamsburg First National Bank beginning a forty plus year dedicated career in banking where she took pride in taking care of her customers. Affectionately known as “Miss Trish”, she enjoyed many years of customer service with The Bank of Greeleyville, Anderson Brothers Bank and retired in May of 2017 from Kingstree Federal Savings and Loan. Mrs. Tricia was a member of Mouzon Presbyterian Church. She was a devoted wife for 48 ½ years, a loving, nurturing mother and a wonderful, doting grandmother known as “Mimi” to her grandchildren and a big sister for her siblings.
Surviving Mrs. Harrington, in addition to her husband Charles, are: a daughter Jennifer Claire (Rich) Newsom of Rock Hill; a son, Charles W. “Charlie” (Brandy) Harrington, Jr. of Lake City; grandchildren, Robert Charles Newsom, Carter Ellis Newsom, Hilton Grace Newsom, Anna Claire Harrington, and Hailey Mason Altman; sister-in-law, Kathy (Ronnie) Butler of Greenwood; sisters, Elaine Love Cusack, Phyllis Love Watford, and Penny Love (J.R.) McKenzie; half sister and brother, Melissa Love Incorvia and Cecil Ellis Love, Jr.; and 4 step brothers, Ronnie, Billy, David, and Danny Pierce. Tricia is also survived by several nieces and nephews whom she loved.
The family would like to thank all her caregivers: Dr. Albert Mims, Dr. Sarah Adams, Amedisys, Tidelands Hospice, Tidelands Oncology, MUSC Hollings Cancer Center, and all the staff at the Kingstree IGA

Sorry for your loss Charles,and Charlie. Trish was always a smile in an uncomfortable place. To you Charles I’ll never forget the engine blowing up in the truck about 1968. Charlie so proud to have you work for us in high school. Good luck , and move forward, she was one of the GOOD ONES.
I am so sorry to hear this. Thankful that she is no longer suffering but sad that she is no longer with us. I am blessed to have been a very small part of her life. I will always love and remember her.
She smiled when she talked about her family and that means everything!! She loved you guys with no end! I will continue to keep your family in my prayers. Much love to you all.
Mr. Charles Our hearts are breaking for you and your family at the loss of Mrs.Trish. Loosing a loved one is never an easy thing to go through. Our hearts don’t feel as though they will ever be whole again but God gives us the ability to love and to carry on with our lives in the way that Mrs.Trish would want. Mrs.Trish loved her entire family with all her heart. Know she now rest in God’s House and will rejoice in him always.
