Susan Lennie Mims Brazell, 65, died Tuesday, January 12, 2021, in Williamsburg Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Brazell was born May 30, 1955, in Kingstree, a daughter of the late LeRoy Mims and Tommie Epps Mims. She was a graduate of Williamsburg Academy and retired as a bank teller in Myrtle Beach. Susan was a member of Kingstree First Baptist Church.
Surviving Susan are: her two children, Susan M. Gause (Alvin Hyman), and Dawayne (Wendy Welch) Gause, both of Kingstree; brothers, Tony (Francie) Mims, of Mt. Pleasant, and Richard (Margaret) Mims, of Columbia; a sister, Marie Glover, of Concord, NC; 3 grandchildren, Elizabeth Ward, of Myrtle Beach; Jayce Gause, of Indiana; and Brandy McKenzie (Ernest William) Prosser IV, of Kingstree; 7 great grandchildren, Elliott Ward, Bailee Drake, Edwin Elmer, Tobias Elmer, Ernest William Prosser V, Kinsley Prosser, and Tyler Prosser.

Lennie was such a sweet person that I’ve known for years! May God wrap his loving arms around her family and love and peace surround them with the love and peace of His Son and our Savior Jesus Christ.
