A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM, Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Kingstree Memorial Gardens.
Mona Lee Scott Timmons, 87, widow of Daniel E. Timmons, Sr., died Friday, January 15, 2021, at her home in Kingstree.
Mrs. Timmons was born October 20, 1933, in Kingstree, a daughter of the late Roswell Prefore Scott and Oneida McCrea Scott. She was a graduate of Kingstree High School and cosmetology school. Mrs. Timmons was a beautician in the Kingstree community for a few years and worked at Baxter Travenol and Talon until retirement. She was a member of Williamsburg Presbyterian Church.
Surviving Mrs. Timmons are: a son, Derrick Timmons of Kingstree; 2 daughters, Donna Seeger of Rock Hill, SC and Debbie Moore of Massachusetts; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Timmons was preceded in death by a son, Daniel E. Timmons, Jr. and siblings, James F. Scott, Belver S. Gamble, Mattie McCrea, Mary Scott, Louise Scott, Janie Scott, Floride S. Ward, Emma Laurie Bell, Roswell Scott, Jr., and Thomas Eugene Scott.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM, Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Kingstree Memorial Gardens. Please follow Covid precautions by socially distancing and wearing a mask.
