A celebration of life service will be 1:30 PM, Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at Kingstree First Baptist Church and following that, she will be laid to rest beside her husband at Williamsburg Cemetery.

Marjorie Anne Williamson Kellahan, 86, wife of the late Thomas McCroy Kellahan, Jr., met the Lord Sunday, May 2, 2021, at her residence.
Mrs. Kellahan was born September 12, 1934, in Salters, SC to Berry Isaac and Lucy Janie Covington Williamson. She accepted Christ as her Savior at a young age. She and Thomas married on December 26, 1953. Mrs. Kellahan received a degree in cosmetology and was pleased to offer services at her Kingstree salon, Margie’s Beauty Shop. As a dedicated 60 plus year member of Kingstree First Baptist Church, she sang faithfully in choir. She was a member of the Joyful Rainbow Sunday School Class, the Women’s Missionary Union, and The Maxine McCutchen Prayer Group. She was also an active member of the Eugene Chapter, Order of The Eastern Star and the Red Hat Society. She made a hobby of baking that grew to catering many special gatherings.
She loved her children: Cindy and Tom; her grandchildren: Cas, Tasha, Jessica, Kelly, and Nicole; and her great grandchildren: Ryker, Deane, Lela, Makayla, Wyatt, Asher, and Farryn.
Mrs. Kellahan was preceded in death by her parents, Berry Isaac and Lucy Janie Covington Williamson; siblings, Eldred Barnes Williamson, Ollie Weldon Williamson, and James Travis Williamson; beloved son, Thomas McCroy Kellahan, III, and husband, Thomas McCroy Kellahan, Jr.
Surviving family members are: daughter, Cynthia Jean Kellahan (John Hugh) Smith of Hamer, SC; daughter-in-law, Sherry Turner Kellahan of Luling, LA; grandchildren, Thomas Caswell Kellahan, Tasha (Cliff) Carraway, Jessica (Doug) Phillips, Amelia Kellahan Smith, and Nicole Smith; great grandchildren, Ryker, Lela, and Asher Carraway and Deane, Makayla, Wyatt, and Farryn Phillips; sisters, Ruth Marie Anderson, Elsie Lorraine Jones, and Jenny Victoria Williamson; and brother, Isaac Ray Williamson.

My favorite memory of Mrs. Kellahan was the fabulous and delicious cake she baked for us at Williamsburg Technical College for its 30th Anniversary Celebration in 1999. The cake was a replica of the college buildings and iced in a brown-sugar icing just the color of the tan bricks of WTC. She provided other cakes for the college–cake squares for various occasions that were also wonderful, but the building cake was special and unique.
I am thinking of all of you with love.

So sorry for your loss of a sweet lady “Nana K”, as we all affectionately knew her. We spent so many good times together with her and Thomas “Gran,” while sharing our visits with Tom, Sherry, and Cas years back. I remember all the good food, especially Gran’s Hot BBQ chicken and Nana K’s great desserts. So many precious memories! Praying for all. Sherry’s mom and Cas’s Nana T.
