A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM, Thursday, June 10, 2021, in Kingstree Memorial Gardens.
Visitation
Mary Ruth’s family will receive friends following the service in Grace Hall at Williamsburg Presbyterian Church.

Mary Ruth Huggins Mims, 80, widow of Robert Lee “Bobby” Mims, died Sunday, June 6, 2021, at MUSC Charleston.
Mrs. Mims was born January 9, 1941, in Sumter, SC, a daughter of the late James A. and Ruth Geddings Huggins. She was a graduate of Kingstree High School and retired from Farmers Telephone Cooperative. Mary Ruth was a member of Kingstree Home and Garden Club and enjoyed playing cards with friends. She was a member of Williamsburg Presbyterian Church.
Surviving Mrs. Mims are: her daughter, Rebecca Mims (Mike) Barrineau of Kingstree; her son, Robert (Nikki) Mims of Kingstree; brother, Jimmy (Beth) Huggins of Charleston; sister, Dora Ann Cantey of Arden, NC; grandchildren, Mary Rebecca Barrineau, LeeAnn (Maxi) Lee, Copelyn Mims, Alden Mims, and Ashton Mims; great granddaughter, Marley Lee.

I loved working with Mary Ruth. She was one of the kindest people around. Always had a smile. Always helpful. Wish more people were like her.
