Robert Lee “Bob” Huffman, 87, widower of Faye Boyd Huffman, died Friday, August 6, 2021, in Williamsburg Regional Hospital in Kingstree.

     Mr. Huffman was born September 13, 1933, in Stanley, VA, a son of the late Ray G. Huffman and Lula Hausden Huffman. After high school there, he attended the University of Virginia and later joined the US Navy. Mr. Huffman was the plant manager at Warsaw Manufacturing in Kingstree for many years. He enjoyed fishing and flying model airplanes and attended Kingstree Second Baptist Church.

          Surviving Mr. Huffman are: his daughter, Sharon H. (Marion) McClary of Kingstree; grandchildren, Ian (Tracy) McClary and Allison (Tyler Brown) McClary. In addition to his parents, Mr. Huffman was preceded in death by a daughter, Frances Clark and a sister.

     A memorial service will be 12 Noon, Monday, August 16, 2021, at Williamsburg Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Williamsburg County Animal Shelter, 200 County Camp Road, Kingstree, SC 29556.     Mr Bob was fun to ride bikes with him. He would drag behind but we. Waited on him to catch up. That was good times with him. He has some nice bikes.

    I have been away from Kingstree for quite some years and I am just seeing this. I’m sorry for your loss. My best memories of Bob were at the airport flying the model planes and helicopter. He was exceptional with the helicopter. All the guys were in awe. He was a kind man and will always be remembered.
