Laura was my dear older friend who would pull me up to sit beside her with the high school girls on the school bus heading to the school in Greeleyville when the older boys were pulling my long hair. Later she married my mother’s double first cousin, Robert Small. I always loved her for her kindness & sweet smile. Please accept my sincere sympathy as you grieve for this grand lady who loved you.
Sherry, Robert, and Jimmy,
Sending heartfelt condolences and prayers during this sad time.
I knew your dear mom as “Nunnie”.
She was a lifelong friend and she will surely be missed. God be with you.
She was a really good lady. I am glad that I knew her for decades. Her brother Harry Easler was my Brother In Law. The world is a sadder place at the moment. RIP
Sandy, I know Laura was so glad that you and Gloria were in her life’s d that you truly acted as daughters in love.
I pray for peace for you, Gloria and Laura’s children and family.
Sherry, I’m so sorry to hear about your Mom. Miss Laura was a card. I’ll never forget when we were young spending Saturday nights at our house with your Mom rolling our hair for church on Sunday while listening to the Grand Ole Oprey. She was a special lady! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Miss Laura was a good friend to my mama, Jean Edwins. She will surely be missed.
