  1. Rev. & Mrs. Randell Blackman

We’re sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Mitchum. Got to know them from coming to Black’s Camp. Gerald helped my mother plant a rose garden-she loved roses and so do I. Gerald and Libby were fine upstanding Christian people.

  2. Patsy Gordon Martin

Libby was a cherished friend for
    numerous years. We had many
good times with Libby and Gerald. One special time was our train trip across the United
    States to California. Traveled the
    southern states going and the
    northern states returning. It
was an educational and fun trip.
    Libby recently turned 90 and
has said goodby to us to go be
with Gerald and her Lord and
    Savior. She will be missed.

  3. Andy and Catharine Chandler

    Dear Mitchum Family,
Libby was a dear friend to my parents and to us as a family for many years. She and Gerald were devoted to each other and to their Lord, their church, their family and the many friends who were blessed by them. Libby was so smart, creative, and resourceful. She could do just about anything. She was a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to so many. We all will miss her, but rest assured that she is now with her Lord and Savior, and is reunited with her beloved Gerald. May God’s love and comfort be with you and may His grace surround you this day and as you grieve in the coming weeks and months. I wish we could be there with you all today. Love and God’s peace.
