Funeral services will be 11 AM, Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation
Mr. Thompson’s family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM, Friday at Williamsburg Funeral Home.

Franklin Brooks “Frankie” Thompson, Jr., 79, husband of the late Juanita Dukes Thompson, died Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at MUSC in Charleston, SC.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Mr. Thompson’s family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM, Friday at Williamsburg Funeral Home.
Mr. Thompson was born October 17, 1942, in Florence, SC, a son of the late Franklin Brooks Thompson and Mabel Altman Thompson. He retired as a supervisor after 37 years at Pepsi Cola Bottling Company. He was an active member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, Sunday School Director, Choir Director, a member of Baptist Brotherhood and many other committees. An avid outdoorsman, Frankie enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, spending time at Tyler Fox Pen, and especially spending time with his friends.
Surviving Mr. Thompson are: a daughter, Sandy Fowler; a son, Greg (Kim) Thompson; 4 grandchildren, Matthew Fowler, Jordan Fowler, Elizabeth Thompson, and Leann Thompson; 2 brothers, Talmadge Thompson and Willie Thompson; 3 sisters, Leatha Mae Morris, Susie Fryar, and Georgia Dennis. In addition to his wife and his parents, Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by a grandson, Quentin Thompson and three sisters, June Stewart, Mary Thompson, and Ann Goins.

Frankie was one of the best men I ever met. I had the privilege of working with him for many years. RIP my friend you will be greatly missed!!
George was lucky to have so many wonderful employees at Pepsi Cola Frankie being one of them. So sorry to hear of his passing.
Frankie was a fine man. He will be missed by family, friends, church family. May God comfort the family during this difficult time .
