A memorial service to celebrate Roy’s life will be held 3 PM, Monday, December 26, 2022, at Williamsburg Funeral Home in Kingstree, SC, with burial in Kingstree Memorial Gardens.
Visitation
Roy’s family will greet friends at the funeral home at 2 PM Monday just before the service.

Albert LeRoy “Roy” Scott, III, 55, died at home in Kingstree, SC, Saturday, December 17, 2022.
Mr. Scott was born November 5, 1967, in Kingstree, the son of the late Albert LeRoy Scott, Jr. and Dorothy Turner Scott. He was a high school graduate and attended the University of South Carolina and Winthrop University. Roy was a veteran of the US Navy and was a Methodist. Roy was a self-employed computer technician.
Surviving Mr. Scott are: two sisters, Helen (Arnold) Tyler of Kingstree and Dorothy Jane (Bobby) McCaskill of Battleboro, NC; two uncles, Ray (Emily) Turner of Darlington, SC and Charles Odom, of Gibson, NC ; an aunt, Davis Plummer of Clio, SC; nephews and niece, John Tyler, Jr. and Jason Tyler, both of Kingstree, and Russell (Rebecca) Mouzon of Tarboro, NC and Brandy (Moe) Sledge, of Rocky Mount, NC; and Roy’s beloved fur baby, Precious. In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his fiancée, Linda Fitch.
