Visitation
Billy’s family will receive friends and family 5-7 PM Tuesday, October 3rd at Williamsburg Funeral Home in Kingstree.

William Wright “Billy” McAllister, 76, husband of Jeanette Feagin McAllister, died peacefully at home, surrounded by family, Sunday, October 1, 2023.
Billy was born March 31, 1947, in Kingstree, SC, a son of the late William W. McAllister and Rowena Powell McAllister. He was a graduate of Kingstree High School who served as a firefighter in Chattanooga, TN, worked in construction at Farmers Telephone Co-Op, and owned and operated a home repair and construction business to complete his career. Billy also served in the US Army National Guard in Tennessee and South Carolina. He was a member of Broad Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church and attended Cades Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving Billy, in addition to his wife of 57 years, Jeanette, are: his son, Andy (Tammy) McAllister of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren, Drew (Sara) McAllister of Myrtle Beach, Austin (Cassidy) McAllister of Scranton, Brian McAllister of Kingstree, and Paige, Emma, Mary Helen and Lizzie Kellahan of Kingstree; daughter-in-law, Tracy Floyd McAllister of Kingstree; sister, Rose Carraway of Latta; and dear friends who were like his children, Conrad and Blair Kellahan of Kingstree; and a beloved family member, Wanda Lynch, who assisted in caring for Billy during his illness. In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Brian McAllister, brothers, Charles and Carl McAllister, sisters, Libby Matthews, Ann Dukes, and Deola Cumbee.
