I was so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Prayers for the family.
My sincere sympathy to Debbie and Al. Your mother was truly a special lady and will surely be missed!
Debbie,
I am so sorry that you lost your Mother, Davyne.
I have known her since her family moved to Kingstree when she was in the 6th grade.
I was a grade older, but I met her in the band where she played the trumpet. As a 13 year old I was immediately smitten by her blonde hair and blue eyes; and of course her glowing personality. Of course these matters are shortlived for teenagers!
However, the impression must have remained in my brain, because in 1965 I married a blue eyed, strawberry blonde and had a blueyed daughter who ultimately presented me with three daughters two with blue eyes and one hazel eyed.
One of whom at age 13 was just named captain of her middle school basket ball team.
Yes, Davyne made an impression on me that I have enjoyed all my life.
She and Alva were essentially my life long friends.
God bless and comfort you and all the family. And I wish Godspeed to Davyne with a tear in my eye.
With love to all.

I am so sorry for your loss. I thought so much of Mrs. Davyne. She helped me so much with my photography business by letting me take pictures at her farmhouse. She helped me tremendously in setting up my photography sets with all her decorating tips. Such a talented and sweet lady. Sending prayers for your family.
