Van Tuong Do, 63, died Monday, June 24, 2024, at MUSC Florence Medical Center.
Mr. Do was born January 17, 1961, in Vietnam, a son of the late Do Thanh Mai and Kieu Thi Sau. He was a 1980 graduate of Great Falls High School in Great Falls, Montana and attended the University of Montana. Mr. Do was the owner and operator of #1 Nail Salon and Spa in Kingstree. He worked long hours but loved to keep in shape and enjoyed being on the water and watching television.
Mr. Do is survived by: his fiancée and mother of his children, Nga Thi Xuan Nguyen “Jackie”; daughters, Ashley Nhi Nguyen Do and Alexis Nhu Do; brothers, Do Linh The, Do Thi Tuong- Vy, Do Thi Kieu Thu, and Do Thi Kim Chau. In addition to his parents, Van was preceded in death by a brother, Do Thanh My.

Jackie and to his children I am so saddened to learn of the loss of Von as I call him.. he will be Greatly missed but most of all I Appreciated him so much..Who would’ve thong that when he did my nails 2 weeks ago that it would have been the last time he served me. #1 Nails will not be the same but Jackie my heart goes out to you the girls and his family. I say to Von Thank you for the many times I sat in that chair or the Pool for you to make my feet pretty was a pleasure to have you.
