Kathy Ann Simms Copeland, 67, of Moncks Corner, SC, died Friday, April 11, 2025, at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston, SC.
Ms. Copeland was born on September 17, 1957, in Washington, DC, and was the daughter of the late Betty June Keister Jones. She retired as a warehouse supervisor in West Virginia and moved to South Carolina to be near her son Ron. Kathy enjoyed painting landscapes.
Surviving Ms. Copeland are two sons, Ronald E. Copeland, Jr. (Audri) of Moncks Corner and Shawne A. Copeland (Doretta) of Severn, MD, 6 grandchildren, Tyler Copeland, Corey Copeland, J.W. Copeland, Jaxon Copeland, Charleigh Copeland, and Emmaline Copeland, and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Brandy Copeland.
