I am saddened to hear of Helen’s passing but so happy that I visited her early afternoon of night she went to her Heavenly home. Last couple of times I visited her, she was sleeping and I would not wake her. This week’s visit was different. Again she was sleeping but I walked up close to her bed and called her name and told her who I was. She opened her eyes and looked straight at me as if she knew me. I again told her who I was and what fun times we had working at Santa Electric in the sixties and seventies. She looked at me as if she was hearing everything. Told her that I loved her and there’s no doubt she heard me because the corner of her mouth made these three little moves that I’ll always believe she was trying to tell me that she loved me.
Over the years we stayed in touch and by phone a lot when she went to The Carlisle Facility .
Such a dear friend who not only loved her family & friends but had a deep love for her Savior. She loved Britt and would always bring me up to date on him and his wife. She looked forward to their visits as well as Beth’s visits.. Heaven sure gained a wonderful angel who is now free of discomfort and enjoying being with “Ms Ruth.”
