Elizabeth Lee Gilleland Kirchner, 53, widow of Steve Kirchner, died, June 6, 2025, at her home in Largo, Florida.
Libby was born September 17, 1971, in Kingstree, SC, a daughter of Jerry and Paulette McKenzie. She graduated from Kingstree Senior High School and Williamsburg Technical College with her associates degree. She was a member of Kingstree Second Baptist Church. Elizabeth was an avid reader and loved animals, especially horses and dogs. She loved to travel and always had some type of project going on.
In addition to her parents Libby is survived by: a son, Josh (Maggie) Tomlinson of Coward, a sister Pam (Dennis) Johnson of Lane, a brother Sam (Brooke) McKenzie of Lane, nieces Jessica (Casey) Garris of Lake City, Audrey Johnson of Daniel Island, Haley & Raylee McKenzie, nephew Kade McKenzie all of Lane, a great nephew Dax Garris of Lake City and her beloved dog Lilly. In addition to her husband Libby was preceded in death by her biological father J.P. Gilleland.

Paulette and Jerry, I ‘m so sorry about Libby’s passing. She was a sweet lady like here Moma. She left this world too soon. She had so much to offer and will be missed by so many.

So sorry to hear of Libby’s passing. She was a precious young lady and will be missed by so many.
Mrs. Paulette and Mr. Jerry, I was heartbroken the hear of Libby’s passing. She was a good friend to me when I lived in Kingstree, and I was fortunate to reconnect as an adult through Facebook. Please know that you and the family are in my heart and prayers.
