Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday, September 1, 2014, in Mt Vernon United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation
Following the services Monday, the family will greet friends in the fellowship hall at the church.

Mrs. Olga Perry Mims Cox, 93, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2014, in Tidelands Hospice House in Georgetown.
Mrs. Cox was born March 19, 1921, in Hemingway, a daughter of the late Davis Sylvester Perry and Janie Sanders Perry. She was a graduate of Muddy Creek High School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Oliver William Bruorton, Robert Lavern Mims, and E.J. Cox; 2 sisters, Clarice Newsome and Lib Graham; and her brother Phillip Perry. Mrs. Cox was a loving Christian wife, mother, and caregiver to parents and siblings, and enjoyed her family and friends and witnessing to those about the Lord. She was an ordained minister. Mrs. Cox’s family gives special thanks to Tidelands Hospice and their staff at the Hospice House for their loving care.
Surviving are: her children, Oliver “Billy” (Gloria) Bruorton, of Greeleyville, Janet Mims Bennett, of Conway, and LaRease “Ree” (Frankie) Mims, of Eastover; grandchildren, Mike (Beverly) Bruorton, of Homerville, GA, Dena (Duane) Flinchum, of Greeleyville, Cami (David) Ebert, of Franklin, TN, Chris (Amanda) Fleming, of Strasburg, VA, Blake (Margaret) Mims, of Isle of Palms, and Holly (Perry) Jameson, of John’s Island; great grandchildren, Davis, Meagan, & Mary Mikelyn Bruorton, Josh (Michaela) Taylor, Glorianna Flinchum, David, Josh, & Caleb Ebert, Morgan Fleming, Luke, Haley, Reese Mims, and Blakely Lane Jameson; special nieces and nephews; and beloved caregiver Ruby Dorsey.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, September 1, 2014, in Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
