Funeral services will be 7 PM Tuesday, October 9, 2018, in Graham Funeral Home Chapel, in Georgetown with a private burial Wednesday in Kingstree Memorial Gardens.
Visitation
The family will receive friends before the services from 5 to 6:30 PM at Graham Funeral Home.

Alphonso James “AJ” Rigby, Jr., 91, widower of Mary Ann Nicholson Rigby, died Saturday, October 6, 2018, at his residence in Pawley’s Island.
Mr. Rigby was born October 22, 1926, in Kingstree, a son of the late Alphonso James Rigby and Sara Nunnally Rigby. He attended Clemson College and was the retired owner of Rigby Electric Supply. Mr. Rigby was a pilot and avid golfer and past President of South Carolina Golf Association. He was a former Georgetown County Airport Commissioner, past master of Kingstree Masonic Lodge #46 and a member of Pawley’s Island Lodge #409.
Surviving Mr. Rigby are: two sons, Billy Rigby, of Pawley’s Island and Al (Marcie) Rigby, of Kingstree; two grandsons, Kyle (Shameka) Rigby, of Holden Beach, NC and Mason (Shannon) Rigby, of Sumter; five great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. AJ was preceded in death by wives Joyce Coleman Rigby and Mary Ann Nicholson Rigby; son, Alphonso James “Jimmy” Rigby, III; brothers, William J. Rigby, Jesse N. Rigby and George H. Rigby.

Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us everyday! Mr. AJ brought a smile to every ones face at the Hanser House Restaurant every time he came though the door. He is surly going to be missed but he will be in our hearts forever!
