Auddie Cleveland Brown Jr., 78, husband of Sandra L. Brown, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family Wednesday afternoon, October 22, 2025, after a long-fought health battle.
Born in Kingstree, SC, on October 14, 1947, he was the son of the late Sarah Virginia Davis and Auddie Cleveland Brown. Auddie attended Kingstree High School and Columbia Commercial College. He loved selling cars and was proud to call his customers family. Auddie was a member of Kingstree Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of the Masons and the Shriners. He was an avid sportsman enjoying nothing more than spending time with his children, grandchildren and his friends on his farm, sharing his love of quail, dove, and duck hunting and caring for his bird dogs and horses. He loved Kingstree and Williamsburg County, and you would never find him too far away for long.
Auddie is survived by Sandra, his loving and devoted wife of 59 ½ years, his sons Cliff Brown and Chris (Wanda) Brown of Kingstree, SC and daughters Sara (Will) Webber and Sonya (Brian) Lane of Lexington, SC. His most loved and adored grandchildren, Davis Brown, Lane Brown, Austin Webber, Gibson (Blakely) Brown, Mia Lane, Brennan Webber, Christina Brown, Marian Nell Easler, and Tyson Funderburk.
In addition to his parents, Auddie was preceded in death by his brother, Wentworth Edwards “Winn” Brown.
