Funeral services will be 2 PM, Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Williamsburg Funeral Home with burial to follow in Eaddy Ford Cemetery in Johnsonville.
Visitation
Betty’s family will greet friends at the funeral home beginning 1 hour before the service on Wednesday.

Betty Jane Parnell Eaddy, 78, widow of Jerry Eaddy, died peacefully at home surrounded by family Sunday, October 24, 2021.
Mrs. Eaddy was born March 14, 1943, in Florence County, a daughter of the late Dick and Evelyn Creel Parnell. She was a graduate of Johnsonville High School and was a faithful member of Kingstree Second Baptist Church.
Surviving Mrs. Eaddy are: her son, J.J. (Becky Parrott) Eaddy; her daughter, Sherri (Scott) Cook, 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and very special friend, Murray McCrea. In addition to her parents and her husband Jerry, Betty was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Eaddy and Letha Mae Tedder, and granddaughter Bailey “Bayy” Eaddy.

So sorry to hear about Miss Betty. She was a sweet lady and I always enjoyed talking to her when our paths crossed, usually, at Walmart. I know she will be missed greatly. Praying for you all.
Dear JJ and Sherry, So sorry to hear about your mom. I always loved Betty and always stopped and talk to her when I would see her at Hardee’s and around town. My condolences to the family. So sorry to hear about Mrs. Betty. She was a very sweet lady. I enjoyed our conversations whenever we saw each other. We swapped recipes in Dollar General 2 years ago around Christmas holiday. I sure will miss seeing her around. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. Can’t believe I’ve lost this sweet friend. Betty was always so full of life and enjoyed every day. She was such an inspiration to me. I’ll certainly miss her smiling face.

I knew Betty from the beauty shop in Coward and through Mr. Murray. We saw each other on a regular basis and she always greeted you with a smile , such a precious lady. RIP my friend.
