Funeral services celebrating Mr. Floyd’s life will be 11 AM Tuesday, October 2, 2018, in Kingstree Pentecostal Holiness Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation
Mr. Floyd’s family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM Monday at Williamsburg Funeral Home.
David John Floyd, 73, died Friday, September 28, 2018, in McLeod Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Floyd was born July 30, 1945, in Kingstree, a son of the late Wayne and Edith Kathleen McAllister Floyd. He was educated in Williamsburg County schools and was a food and drink delivery driver.
Surviving Mr. Floyd are: a brother, Earl (Ruby) Floyd, of Kingstree; 2 sisters, Mary Louise Cox, of Kingstree and Patricia Ann (William) Strong, of Andrews; 7 nieces and 4 nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Floyd was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Floyd.
