Shocked to see this information..heartbroken to hear of his passing. David worked with my husband Jim at the shipyard and also attended church with us at Calvary Lutheran in Charleston for a while. We enjoyed his friendship and witnessed a deepening faith in him during that time. I regret that we lost touch over the years.he spent time with our family which gave us fond memories. Our deepest sympathy to all the family. Our prayers are with you. Jim and Dixie Roberts.. Charleston

Sad to hear of such a fine man gone way too soon. Fair winds and following seas
Rest In Peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
So sorry to hear of the loss of our brother!
I only had the privilege to know “Knob” Epps for one year, but my recollections are good ones. Sharp, pretty quiet (maybe not but a good tact as a freshman), and a good guy. I can certainly appreciate the pain all of you are now forced to endure, and hope that the dizziness of current events will soon morph into moments of comfort and solice, knowing how much he is loved and how well he lived. Your family will be in my prayers.
My thoughts and prayers go out to David’s family. Cherish the fond memories, good times and hold them close to you. My sincere condolences. May he look down upon you from above and watch out over his family.
