Funeral Services
A memorial service will be 3 PM Sunday, July 28, 2019, in the chapel at Williamsburg Funeral Home. A private family committal will be held at a later date.
Visitation
Mrs. Scott’s family will greet friends at 2 PM at the funeral home just before the service.

Dorothy Turner “Dot” Scott, 89, widow of Albert LeRoy “Rusty” Scott, Jr., died Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Mrs. Scott was born May 14, 1930, in Cades, SC, a daughter of the late John Wesley Turner and Gertrude McElveen Turner. She was a graduate of Lake City High School, was the long-time office manager and corporate secretary for Thomas Motor Company and Bill Wright Ford, and was the secretary for Jenkinson Building Supply. Mrs. Scott was a former member and past president of the Kingstree Pilot Club. She was a member of Mount Vernon United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Scott is survived by: a son, Albert LeRoy “Roy” (Linda Fitch) Scott, III of Kingstree; two daughters, Helen S. (Arnold) Tyler of Kingstree and Dorothy Jane S. (Bobby) McCaskill of Battleboro, NC; a brother, Dennis Ray (Emily) Turner of Darlington; four grandchildren, John A. (Amanda)Tyler, Jr. of Alamagordo, NM, Jason A. Tyler of Kingstree, Russell (Rebecca) Mouzon, Jr. of Tarboro, NC, and Brandy (Moe Sledge) Atkinson of Rocky Mount, NC; and ten great grandchildren, John “J.T.” Tyler, III, Bryan A. (Kalyn) Tyler, Channler Tyler, Jaden Tyler, Klaire Young, Caleb Mouzon, Justin Mouzon, Seth Atkinson, McKenzie Atkinson and Maurice Atkinson. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by two siblings, Bertha Mae Brabham and Wesley Turner.
