Funeral Services
Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, June 22, 2019, in Union Presbyterian Church, 4501 M.L. King Jr. Hwy, Salters, SC 29590, with a burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation
Mrs. Wilburn’s family will receive friends following the services in the Martin Building at the church.
Mrs. Elizabeth R. Wilburn, 94, daughter of the late Frank Lee and Frankie Earl Richardson of Salters, SC died Saturday, April 20, 2019 in Clinton, SC.
Mrs. Wilburn was a graduate of Kingstree High School and Presbyterian College. She also received her Masters Degree in mathematics from the University of South Carolina. Mrs. Wilburn taught math in Clinton, SC and Union, SC high schools. She also taught math at Williamsburg Tech in Kingstree, SC and Francis Marion University in Florence, SC.
Mrs. Wilburn was a member of the Union Presbyterian Church, Salters, SC. She belonged to the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Pi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. She loved her pets and was an avid gardener.
Mrs. Wilburn was preceded in death by her brother, James Monroe Richardson, sisters, Jane Richardson Lifrage, Buford Richardson, Wilhelmina Richardson Grist and daughter, Elizabeth Wilburn Rinaca. Surviving are daughter, Gayle Wilburn McCain (Curtis), sons, Frank Wilburn (Phyllis), and Buford Wilburn (Tricia), granddaughters, Cassandra McCain Hamerschlag (Erik), and Laura Wilburn, grandsons, Rhett Rinaca (Kristie) and Franklin Rinaca (Danielle), great granddaughters, Elsa Hamerschlag and Ella Rinaca, great grandsons, Will Henry Rinaca, Hampton Rinaca, Eli Rinaca, Ole Hamerschlag, and Cai Hamerschlag, nieces, Frankie Mims and Michal Grayson and several great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Laurens County, PO box 178, Clinton, SC 29325 or Clinton Presbyterian Community at 801 Musgrove St., Clinton SC 29325.

Mrs. Libby was a dear friend of my mom, Doris Lane. I remember them laughing and having a wonderful time as they planned their high school reunion festivities! Please know that our love and prayers are sent as you adjust to life without your mother. Her great smile will be a strong memory for me!
