Frances McClary Hanna, 79, widow of Samuel E. Hanna, died Monday, December 30, 2019, at MUSC in Charleston, SC.

     Mrs. Hanna was born April 13, 1940, in Kingstree, a daughter of the late Joseph Zeno and Alethia DuBose McClary. She was a graduate of Kingstree High School and was a housewife. She attended Kingstree Second Baptist Church.  

     Survivors are: a son, Samuel Dale Hanna of Summerville; a daughter, Penny Hanna; a grandson, Josh (Katie) Hanna of Summerville; 2 great grandchildren, Ethan and Sydney Hanna; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Hanna was preceded in death by 1 brother and 4 sisters.

     Funeral services for Mrs. Hanna will be 11 AM Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Williamsburg Funeral Home, with burial in McClary Cemetery. Mrs. Hanna’s family will greet friends Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
