George Avent was a man with a heart of gold. He worked alongside of his Disaster Relief teammates with joy in his heart and a word of prayer on his lips. George loved people. He served them, just as Jesus had asked us to serve our brother and sister. His love and concern for his fellow man was like a magnet and it brought people to him. He fulfilled the command to love one another without a second thought. His crown of glory awaits.

George will be so very much missed.
