More over the past years Bubber and I got the opportunity to renew our friendship. I will be forever grateful for those memories. Blessings abd Peace
Our thoughts and prayers are with family. Mr. Bubba was a friendly, caring and great man. He will be truly missed.
Bubber Jenkinson, among many other fabulous attributes, was a spectacular Father. When his daughter was a student at Salem College, where I was president, he never missed a Parents Weekend or any other opportunity to celebrate his family. He became known, admired, and beloved by other parents, by Salemâs faculty and staff, and by Salem students. When international students or other students couldnât go home for holidays, he and his beloved family invited them to join his family.
He will be fondly remembered, emulated by the best of us, and deeply missed.
I am so sad to hear of Bubberâs passing. He truly was a kind and caring gentleman and his soft spoken mannerism would calm anyone than came before him .
Prayers for comfort for the family.
Husband. Father. Judge. Attorney. Author. Man. Bubber was the best of all of these. I will miss him dearly. You are in my prayers, Peggy.

Bubbler was my roommate during our time at The Citadel and deserves most of the credit for my graduating. He was a good man, served his State and nation as well as being a devoted family man. Bubbler loved Peggy while at The Citadel and for over 50 years thereafter. I regret not being able to attend the service vice as I have surgery @ 7am on the 10th. Rest easy, my friend.

As a Citadel ’71 classmate I got to know Bubber and the Jenkinson clan mores thru my 4 year Kingstree, SC roommate Edward Harrell as we graduated and started our careers and families. During an infrequent visit to Kingstree many years after graduation my wife and I, while shopping in”downtown” Kingstree, and stopped by Bubber’s office to say hello and he was most gracious and welcoming as he was prone to be.
God Bless Bubber and Peggy and family. Faith tells me Bubber is in a great place and continuing to watch over his family and friend….and his Citadel classmates!
The Class of 1971 mourns the loss of one our classmate, Bubber Jenkinson.
Our Long Gray Line will miss him and remember his many good qualities that he brought to our class, his community, and more importantly, his family. He will be missed, but not forgotten.

The Jenkinsons were close to my family ( Kathy and I ) through other families, and my love for the Black River, and Kingstree friends, and my previous family ( Richburgâs ) .
To you and the Jenkinson Family, we love you !
I met Bubber when he sat with me when he was elected to the Family Court Bench. I immediately thought that this is a really good guy. We hit it off immediately and felt like we had known each other for years. I send my condolences to Peggy and all of the family.
Many Sundays at Kingstree UnitedMethodist Church, before service, we would glance around to see where everyonewas seated.
It was a rare occasion when a wink and a nod didn’t make it’s way to me from older handsome Bubber.
Next was Billy then Mac , my buddy. WG did pay attention to the minister and their sermon.
Those are the best memories.
I can see them now.
My condolences to the family.
So many superlatives to describe âBubberâ that his friends all know! We are honored that he and Peggy are forever friends. Thoughts and prayers to the family.
