To Ruthie Brown and Family,
I am so very sorry and saddened to hear of the passing of Aunt Hazel. You have my very deepest sympathy and heartfelt sorrow. I know she will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Regretably, I only got to know her and had conversations with her only the last few years. She always maintained a positive attitude and had a very keen sense of humor and wit, telling some funny stories or jokes, even about herself, and always made me laugh. I will always cherish and remember fondly the conversations I had with her. I truly loved her, even in the short time I got to know her. I, too, will miss her dearly.

Hazel and Grace were both very favorite ladies I got to know growing up and living in Kingstree! Their friendly smiles and encouraging words were always so uplifting!
She will surely be missed, but I know the reunion in Heaven with other loved ones has the angels singing.

Hazel was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend that I love. I loved speaking with Hazel on many occasions and even more when I was blessed to be in the presence of Grace and Hazel. Both ladies were always upbeat and caring for their families and friends. Hazel loved that I would call her Grazel when she was around Grace. I can hear the jokes and humor as I write this condolence coming from Hazel and Grace. I am so blessed that Hazel crossed my path in life as I am a better person because of her.
My deepest sympathy.
